EBTHub Review is the publication of the European Business Transformation Hub. These are the people accountable for what runs here — and the standards we hold every piece to.
Ruth Pauline Wachter
Serial C-suite interim executive — CEO, CFO, COO and CTrO across 78+ entities over 25 years, including transformation recoveries at Equans/Bouygues, Schneider Electric and New Frontier Group. Three executive diplomas from MIT Sloan; Yale SOM alumna. CEO of EBTHub and research lead of its GenAI Labs. Sets editorial direction and signs off every piece.
LinkedIn →Verena Mersmann
Strategic transformation lead in Life Science and Chemicals, with 8+ years delivering digital roadmaps inside GMP/FDA-regulated environments. MSc in Computational Engineering, FAU Erlangen. COO of EBTHub and production lead of its GenAI Labs. Runs the Review's editorial operations and the evidence checks behind every piece.
LinkedIn →EBTHub Review is edited by EBTHub's own leadership. We're open about that — and about the standards that keep it honest (below).
Stefanie “Stefi” Gruber
Stefanie (“Stefi”) is EBTHub's first digital employee — an AI persona, operated in the open. She answers member questions inside the EBTHub intranet and writes the column The Digital Employee. She is not a real person, and we will never pretend she is.
Every piece goes through senior editorial review before publication. We have two advantages most publications don't: we don't publish on a schedule, and we earn nothing from a piece simply appearing. If a piece isn't ready, it waits. Our reputation is the only thing riding on it — so the bar is quality, not volume.
We log every editorial decision — what changed, why, and when — so the review is a record, not a claim.
On the roadmap. We are building independent expert review by subject area. Once a piece is assessed by a qualified, independent reviewer whose verdict is decisive — not ours — we will describe it as peer-reviewed, and not before.
EBTHub Review is published by the European Business Transformation Hub, a non-profit research association based in Vienna. We do not run advertising. We never charge authors — there is no pay-to-play, and a byline cannot be bought. Our work is funded by the association and its research partnerships. When a piece relates to a research partner, we disclose it.
ISSN: application in progress (planned Q3 2026).
